Irvine & Roberts Vineyard

I am normally not a fan of super buttery Chardonnay but these selections were excellent.  Well balanced, not overly buttery, and super smooth finish.  The flight of 4 tastings cost $12 and totally worth it!

2013 Chardonnay – Ripe pear, apple and citrus notes.  Very light and subtle and perfect for a warm day.

2014 Chardonnay – Ripe citrus, stone fruit, and floral aromas.  Great nose and a smooth finish.

2015 Chardonnay – Anjou pears, lemon tart, and apples.  Not overly fruit forward and well rounded.

2017 Rosé of Pinot Noir – Fresh spring flowers, wild strawberries, and pomelo.  All I can say is “Rosé all day!”

I also added the 2015 Reserve Chardonnay and this was amazing!  Tasting notes of white peach, ginger, and ripe melon; Intense flavors at first with a well rounded and smooth finish.
